[Bug 239952] Re: firefox - the associated helper application does not exist

Problem began for me within the last week or so. 
Problem is as described above.
Using:
      Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090910 Ubuntu/9.04 (jaunty) Shiretoko/3.5.3
Since I often keep my browser open for 3 - 4 days at a time, the problem may have begun with the first re-launch after the Gecko/20090910 update. The machine is current on all updates.
I have forced a rebuild of mimeTypes.rdf which had no effect.
