Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
eli at kirk:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
eli at kirk:~$ apt-cache policy thunderbird
thunderbird:
Installed: 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 2.0.0.23+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Expected: RightClick on message->MoveTo->Recent should list only the
~10-20 most recently filed folder locations
Actual: RightClick on message->MoveTo->Recent lists a flat alphabetical
list of every folder in my IMAP hiearachy
On a fresh install of thunderbird(Imaped) on a fresh install of karmic,
when I right click a message, select Move To -> Recent, The list in
recent pops up my entire list of folders as a flat alphabatized list,
instead of just folders I have recently moved stuff to, which is
unmanageable. This leaves me having to either drag to the folder list
on the left with a some amount of scrolling or using the
MoveTo->Account->DrillDown to the folder which is much more time
consuming since most of my mail I file in about 8 folders that requires
scrolling on the folders list to reach or lots of subfolder drill
downs...I would like to see the Recent list move back to only listing a
limited number of actual recent folders.
