Mira, mejor desinstala el flash que instalaste con sinaptic e instala esta
version, sigue los pasos que ahi ten indican en esta liga

aqui te lo explico en español como yo le hice

   1. Desinstala flash con synaptic si lo instalaste con sinaptic o mediante
   el archivo .deb
   2. Descargate este plugin
   http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
   3. Has que se vean los archivos ocultos de tu carpeta personal
   presionando simultaneamente "Ctrl H"
   4. En esta ruta:
   home/usuario/.mozilla/
   creas una carpeta que se llame "plugins" sin las comillas
   5. En la carpeta "plugins" descomprime el archivo que descargaste en el
   paso 2
   6. Reinicia tu firefox y listo. Ahora podras ver sin tantas fallas el
   contenido flash

Funciona mejor que la version que se instala con el archivo .deb o la que
viene en los "extra restricted" del synaptic

NOTA: esto para ubuntu amd64
