Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I have a vexing problem with my password when using wireless connection.
My modem shows I'm connected to the Internet, but I'm unable to connect
to any sites. And I when I go to edit Wireless Connections I find my
password replaced replaced by a homogeneously long string of characters
like so: 7794fe4boefc896d...and one and on and on. If I replace the
string of gibberish (some kind of code?) with my password, I fin my
password has been instantly replaced by the gibberish when I re-check. I
keep repeating this procedure - over and over - and eventually am able
to access web sites. But I also have to reboot several times to manage
this. What the blazes is going on???? Most frustrating......
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with the latest downloads...and this problem only
cropped up after relocating my computer i.e disconnecting and
reconnecting modem.
