this is an issue in the latest 20090929.2 livecd image, and it is also
present in the installed version as well.

$ ls -l /usr/lib/firefox-3.5.3/.autoreg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2009-09-29 15:26 /usr/lib/firefox-3.5.3/.autoreg

ls -l /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.1.3/.autoreg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2009-09-29 15:26 /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.1.3/.autoreg

'/usr/lib/firefox-addons/ubufox*/install.rdf' does not exist
