I had the same problem - worked fine in 8.10 (dual boot machine) but not
9.10.  Adding the noserverino option to my fstab line allowed Tb to see
the folder tree fine.  Now, can you explain why this changed?  I'm on
2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP
