[Bug 438868] Re: Address bar autocomplete doesn't always work

This has been happening to me for sometime in both jaunty and karmic so
firefox 3 and 3.5. It only happens when coming back to the desktop after
the screensaver has been running but then again not every time so I
can't make it happen. I can't type in the address bar at all. I type one
letter and it is immediately selected so that when you type another it
is overwritten. I have compiz running, Nvidia graphics card. 64-bit.If I
switch to another desktop (ctrl-alt-right) and back again(ctrl-alt-left)
then I can type normally. As I said this has been happening on and off
for at least 6 months and though I get the impression it is compiz
related I've never seen it happen in any other app than firefox.
