I confirm this bug on Karmic. I discovered it using "Image Zoom" firefox add-on, but it can be seen loading such an html command, too:
<img src="http://images.google.it/intl/it_it/images/logos/images_logo.gif" height="200">

Now, well, I'm a bit confused: is there a working fix? Maybe
