[Bug 355112] Re: Ask.com keeps being re-added to Firefox search bar after updates

This happens to me with *all* of the default search engines. If I remove
any of them, they reappear after an upgrade. It's happened again when
upgrading from 3.5.4 to 3.5.5 on Karmic.

This bug has been around for quite some time. Any chance we might see it
fixed in the near future? It's quite annoying.
