Hi Michael B. Going to /home/username/.gvfs allows browsing to the samba
locations in the attachment file picker, however, trying to add that
location as a Bookmark causes it to vanish immediately from the file
picker (remains under bookmarks outside Thunderbird), not a problem for
me but it is a problem for my users in that I don't want them having to
go to /home/username, Ctrl+Hing and then navigating to their files.

Is there anything beyond that that will cause a shortcut to remain?
