** Description changed:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
I'm sending .cvs files as attachments but the contents are also visible in the display of the message (below a separator from the body). The files contain an email column.
Rich,Arugulago,rarugulago at gmail.com,13 Apr 2009,13 Apr 2010
In the display the email appears underlined, as a mailTo: hyperlink, but the hyperlink includes the trailing comma and the day of month (which is the first 'word' followin the comma). I'm pretty sure the parser needs to stop at the first non-alpha after the last dot?
I'm running ubuntu 8.4, Thunderbird version 2.0.0.21 (20090318)
+
+ Steps to reproduce:
+ 1. Send yourself an email with the attached file newsubs.csv [1] as attachment
+ 2. When received in Thunderbird, click on the subject line in the main windows
+ 3. The email displays in the preview pane
+
+ Expected behaviour:
+ All email addresses in the preview pane are underlined and can be clicked.
+
+ Actual behaviour:
+ Email addresses are underlined but the boundary of the email address is identified as the next white space character rather than the comma.
