I have just started having this problem as well.
The exact error I get is:
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/x86_64/dl-machine.h: 458: elf_machine_rela_relative: Assertion `((reloc->r_info) & 0xffffffff) == 8' failed!
I noticed rufio mentioned windows in his post when you changed the bug
to "invalid". I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I just installed
XP as a dualboot to my existing system, could this be somehow related?
