Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I attempt to go into the Bookmarks dropdown menu, the program tries
to bookmark the page, generally the first attempt and then after that
all is well. I tried moving buttons around but that did nothing. Every
once in a while I need to restart Firefox once or twice to alleviate the
problem. This is very irritating, and I need to know if this is Firefox
or Ubuntu. This is the only program in Ubuntu that does this. I had
Ubuntu 8.10 and recently ubdated to 9.04, and the problem has been on
both. I am using an HP pavillion zv5000 notebook built around '04. I
have adjusted the addons active, with no effect.
