2. If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? Be as detailed as possible.
This will help us to find and resolve the problem. Please make sure you specify what is the observed behaviour compared to the expected behaviour and if need be include links to web site that demonstrate it.

It also appears that you are reporting two defects here. Could you
please create one bug report for problem 1) and a different bug report
for problem 2) so that they can be handled independently?
