[Bug 375788] [NEW] firefox very slow

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

All of a sudden firefox is taking a very long time to load web pages.
For example loading www.yahoo.com.au now takes minutes rather than
seconds.

The network is fine as other laptops running windows are not having
problems.

Also, certain areas of websites are now greyed out expecting a click in
order to reload
