Go Application > Add Remove. Select 'Sound and video'. In the
application Window select 'Gstream pugin for mms, wavpack ....'. Then
Apply Changes

else try to install packages gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly, gstreamer0.10
-plugins-bad and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ffmpeg

if that still does not work install some medibuntu stuff like w32codecs
(or w64codecs if you're on amd64)
