AFAIK, for PGO in Firefox only the xulrunner package needs to be
compiled. The "firefox-*" packages only contain XUL, Javascript, and
other non-compiled resources.

Michael: what did you need to change in the debian/rules file to make
PGO work? All build instructions I've found use client.mk; Ubuntu uses
the Makefile in the top-level source directory which doesn't have a
"profiledbuild" target. I don't understand the Firefox build process to
understand how these files interact with each other and needs to be
modified in the Ubuntu package to make this work.
