Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Description:	Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release:	9.04

firefox-3.0:
  Installed: 3.0.7+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 3.0.7+nobinonly-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 3.0.7+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I would expect it to normally go through a wizard that lets you select a package to install and installs it. If the installation fails, it should tell you so.
So, here is what happened instead:

I went to time.gov and clicked my time zone.
It needed to install a plug-in to run what it says is an 'application/x-java-vm'. It lists 'IcedTea Web Browser Plugin' twice. When I picked the first one and clicked next, it said, 'Cannot find the package cacao-oj6-plugin'. I clicked the close button. Then the dialogue says that it sucessfully installed the plugin!

I'm attaching screenshots of what happened.

** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
