I can confirm that the package from Sindhudweep's PPA works ok with
youtube videos but I can't confirm the depency "gstreamer0.10-nice". I
had it installed when I first tried to watch video and it worked; then I
removed the package (which had been installed as a depency of empathy),
restarted the web browser (firefox) and were still able to watch youtube
videos.
