The problem started after three months of good running browser. Then,
the browser started to have problems to run youtube flashvideos. I tried
to install new flashplayer-plugins, but the browser freezed, when
starting a flashvideo from the youtubesite and i had problems by
minimizing and maximizing the browserwindow of firefox (the window was
bigger then the place the panels let). At last i tried to cancel every
file and directory in /usr/lib/mozilla and firefox and tried to re-
install by synaptic. That's the story. Thanks :-)

I've loaded down my ubuntu 8.10. disc image from the mirror explained in
the www.ubuntu.de site.
