The bug that this is marked as a duplicate of is completely different.

This bug refers to the master password and the bug is that it is asked
for, multiple times upon startup of Firefox.

The other bug refers to the password prompt for a password protected
proxy server and that the login is not saved once and then never asked
for again.

While both bugs refer to unwanted password prompts, they are clearly
very different bugs.
