Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

this seems to be a new bug, but i'm new to ubuntu. so forgive me, if
this is a repeat.

it does seem to be similar to the "grey square" problem, except that its
not the 64 bit version.

some or all embedded flash players don't work at all. for example the
following one: just gives a download message but never advances the
movie. the problem is the same for all the same type of sites. of
course the system resource usage goes through the roof.
