Sorry my last post was so sloppy Micah. Somewhere in there I mention I
tried a new profile. It did not help when I did. Took me some searching
ti find out how to put in Terminal. Still used to windows.

So far for me the problem exist in Gecko browsers, Firefox and Epiphany.
Works fine in Opera. A friend checked it out in i.e. and had no
problems.

I guess it might have helped to include where the menu came from. I got
it from http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/script2/verticalmenu.shtml
and only modified the images used and resized for my sidebar. I notice
it has the same problem on his demo.

When I first built my site I tested the menu to make sure it worked and
had no problems. I never thought to recheck it when I switched to
Ubuntu. I have noticed t little weirdness in Ubuntu Firefox with the
bookmarks menu trying to scroll on its own. It seems others have that
problem as well. That should have tipped me to check it with my own menu
:)
