[Bug 397650] [NEW] dkpg wont run and this wont let me update my computer

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

when trying to run 262 updates on my computer all i get is a message
saying about there was an error running dkpg please run manually and
report. i have tries to manually run dkpg using the terminal option and
it just tells me this command is mnot reconised
