[Bug 323422] [NEW] 2 problems in Firefox

Problem 1. Ubuntu 8.04, on Firefox startup, I get this error message on my Laptop.
Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIStringBundle.formatStringFromName]

Problem 2. Frequently Firefox doesn't close completely.  The GUI is not
visible and there is no sign of it in the lower program bar, but when I
want to reopen Firefox it tells me that it is already open. The only
cure so far is to reboot the machine.  This is the same on my laptop and
my wife's desktop.
