[Bug 323211] [NEW] thunderbird-bin assertion via file selection dialog

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Ubuntu 8.10, thunderbird

Precondition: thunderbird is open

1. Click "Write" icon on toolbar to open new message.
2. In new message window, click "Attach" icon in toolbar to attach a file.
3. In Attach File(s) file selection dialog, under Location, type ".." (two periods, no quotes).
4. Thunderbird immediately disappears. If was launched from command line, the following is printed out:

Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.14.4/gtk/gtkfilechooserentry.c:1384:start_loading_current_folder: assertion failed: (chooser_entry->load_folder_cancellable == NULL)
