Update.  Also have this problem on the following platforms:

gOS 3.1
Firefox 3.0
Shockwave Flash 9.0.r124

OS X 10.5.6
Firefox 3.0.5
Shockwave Flash 9.0.r151

Vista
Firefox 3.0.5
Shockwave Flash 9.0.r115

The problem is less severe on Vista but it is happening.
