Hi Pedro,
Well, I'd say it doesn't happen so often, however I've just found more than one core file within my home:
This is about the latest one:

...:/home/,,, $ file /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.5/firefox
/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.5/firefox: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), for GNU/Linux 2.6.8, dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

...:/home/... $ gdb /usr/lib/firefox-3.0.5/firefox -c core.6837
GNU gdb 5.3

This GDB was configured as "i686-pc-linux-gnu"...(no debugging symbols found)...
Core was generated by `/usr/lib/firefox-3.0.5/firefox -no-remote'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

As you can see, I've upgraded, however, it's cored.
If my memory serves me well, I think I had some youtube video open. Most problems I can see from time to time are with videos ...

If you need more information, feel free and ask for. However, in case
you need whatever, please, send some instructions how to get it as I'm
not much familiar with all that stuff, :-)

Regards,
hawran
