[Bug 241713] Re: firefox crashes on hyperlinks

i had to upgrade to the latest version of ubuntu in order to make this
issue disappear. i seem to remember flash was a problem on the older
platform as well. flash was taking layered over one website menu but
this is no longer an issue either. does this clarify?

Bug description:
firefox 3 often crashes on the yahoo website when a link is clicked. this
happens when i hit a headline link of the yahoo homepage and even when i tried
to finish my launchpad registration. it's quite annoying!
