Are you sure that you receive emails from SMTP servers? That is used to
send emails. IMAP and POP are the incoming servers. I'm will to bet this
is an IMAP issue but please make sure the server you are using.
Once you have determined what incoming server is being used can you
1. Please provide us with exact steps to reproduce this (including what
incoming server).
2. Please give us a list of all extensions, themes, and other addons
including versions of each. This will beable to determine what the
problem is.
-Please use apt-cache policy <packagename>
- Replace packagenamename for the name of the package.
