it also happens to me, from a few day. We can say it's not a real
fullscreen mode, it seems not consider the title bar of firefox, my top
gnome panel, e my botton avant window navigator dock.

If i manually set fullscreen with F11, and manually unset fullscreen it
comes back rightly...

I recently installed official packaged nvidia driver version 180, but
this problem didn't appear immediatly.
