I'm guessing this as a dupe of #240930 - that is flash using a lot of
CPU for a long time for no good reason.

My guess is that your machine is over heating - does it beep a few times
before it switches itself off?

If it is then you need to get your machine to be happy when it's being used heavily - and also hopefully
they'll fix bug 240930 some time.
