[Bug 332494] [NEW] Dialogue boxes too large for 1024x768 resolution

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I have a 15-inch monitor with a 1024x768 resolution. When I open
thunderbird and, say, want to add an email address to the Address Book,
a dialog box appears. But because the dialog box is too big, 'OK' and
'Cancel' buttons are not displayed. [see screenshot here:

large dialog boxes from all programs. When I connect the same computer
to a larger monitor and change the resolution to 1280x1024, it works
just fine. Is this a bug? Or is there a way to resize the dialog boxes
or something...?
