[Bug 330319] [NEW] mozilla firefox keeps disconnecting from internet connection

I did not have any problems maintaining a wired connection to the
internet via mozilla firefox until today. I downloaded several plug-ins
for the browser and rebooted. When I tried to launch firefox and connect
to the net, I received a error message saying "no connection" detected
and asked to cancel or re-try. I tired several times to launch the
browser but it would launch, connect and then immediately dis-connect. I
then un-installed all of these plug-ins and after that, I was able to
launch firefox and coonect to the internet.
