I use pop3 to connect.

aptitude show mozilla-thunderbird shows:

Beschreibung: Transition package for mozilla-thunderbird rename
 Package to ease upgrading from older mozilla-thunderbird package to the new
 thunderbird package. 
 
 This package can be purged at anytime once the thunderbird package has been
 installed.

Under Help I find:

About Thunderbird: Version 2.0.0.19 (20090105)

I have tried to download mails after adding the new Mailbox.

There ist no Reaction, no error, no download.

The other Mailboxes work without problems, I can receive and send
Emails.
