Unfortunately that doesn't appear to work for me, even if I supplythe
full path to the icon in .../pixmaps. Is there any other solution?

Additionally, I have tried creating a Desktop Entry file for the 'Bluej'
Java IDE and specified the exact path for the icon, and exactly the same
problem with the icon occurs with this too, so I presume there is
something wrong with the way the LXDE panel processes the icon paths.
