Got this error trying to do the cairo patch:

$ patch -p1 < ../cairo.debdiff 
patching file debian/changelog
patching file debian/patches/06_Xlib-Xcb-Hand-off-EXTEND_PAD-to-XRender.dpatch
patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line
patch: **** malformed patch at line 55:  


will give the others a shot tomorrow.
