FWIW, I got 10.0.15.3ubuntu3 from jaunty and I just got another one of these npviewer.bin crashes. My bug report here:

However, in general Flash works _GREAT_ for me in jaunty compared to
intrepid though. I can play sound from many applications at once,
including Flash+totem or whatever. I never had the actual browser crash
because of Flash and pretty much every single Flash applet I wanted to
use worked right away (youtube, vimeo, booking tickets etc etc).
