[Bug 327913] [NEW] Firefox 3.06 upgrade thru Ubuntu - Restart Notification - Even after restarting

Public bug reported:

After updating to Firefox 3.06 (Ubuntu / itrepid) thru Uubuntu update
manager, firefox persistently asks to restart even after the browser is
restarted. The notification comes within Firefox and below the Bookmark
Toolbar.

I have manually closed all the browser windows and restarted and have
restarted thru the restart button option in Firefox.
