Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Firefox seems to crash completely randomly. I can be on a page with no
flash and it will crash. I can be on a page with lots of flash and it
will crash. I can be on a completely stable page that I've been reading
for a few minutes and then it will suddenly crash. Not a programmer, so
I really can't tell you much more than that.
I'm using Kubuntu Ibex. I've turned off most of the fancy graphics, ie
fading in and out, etc. but haven't been able to figure out where to
turn off the 3D engine yet. I figure most programs will quit crashing
when I get that turned off.
