Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird

Hi,
When Im writing an email in Thunderbird all goes well until I start entering a number. The digits start then overlapping
each other and the number that appears is different than the one I was tipping in. Also I can not properly delete the written number with backspace because the cursor just goes back through the number without making the digits disappear.

I suppose its just a problem in displaying because when I copy the so
messed up text and paste it into Gedit the number is ok.

Im using Ubuntu 8.10 on Toshiba Dynabook TX/65D laptop with Japanese language support installed.
thunderbird package is version 2.0.0.19+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1.

Thanks in advance
