[Bug 498937] [NEW] update to xulrunner causes firefox to not load

Binary package hint: xulrunner-1.9

after an update to xulrunner firefox fails to load, giving me this
message before crashing:

Error launching browser window:no XBL binding for browser

Synaptic gives me the history of changes for today:

Upgraded the following packages:
xulrunner-1.9 (1.9.0.15+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1) to 1.9.0.16+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1
xulrunner-1.9-gnome-support (1.9.0.15+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1) to 1.9.0.16+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.04.1

Currently using Mint 7 (Ubuntu 9.04 comparable)
