This bug was fixed in the package firefox-3.0 - 3.0.13+nobinonly-

  * good-bye "Multisearch"; we remove our karmic alpha3 experiment called
    "Multisearch" as we are approaching alpha4 (LP: #402767, #402804, #406893,
     #410997, #408484, #403246)
    - remove debian/extensions/me001 at canonical.com/...
    - update debian/firefox-3.0.install
    - update debian/rules
