Running the following commands now works for me:

apt-get remove swfdec-mozilla mozilla-plugin-gnash flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Following that, this also works:

apt-get remove flashplugin-nonfree
wget http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/flashplayer10/libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
tar -zxf libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
cp libflashplayer.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/
cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
