Why is this an addon rather than a search plugin? At least, the search
components should be listed as a search plugin (and separate from the
default Google one), since that's exactly what it's doing and where I
would expect to find it.

If that had been the case, I wouldn't have lost 1.5 hours looking for
the source of the unwanted changes.
