I got the same Problem with firefox, but Kaffeine too. It seems, that it
doesn't take effect if the desktop effects are switched on or of. The
Proplem appears while using KDE or GNOME. With COMPIZ-Fusion the Problem
apeared nearly every time 10 Minutes after launching my System. Now I
deinstalled Compiz and it is much better but still no fun to surf the
Web with Ubuntu. With Google I found some posts at the Ubuntu-Forum
about it, but no solution. By side Keyboard Navigation works while that
fault appears and sometimes to drag and drop some pictures in a website
gives the mouse controll back.
