Public bug reported:

Did a clean wipe and install after its release of Ubuntu 9.04, did NOT upgrade.
Aug 1, 2009, I did system updates from 2.6.28-14 to 2.6.28-15 using terminal $sudo aptitude ....
After system restart I saw that gtk-gnash started consuming almost 100% of CPU.
Killed gtk-gnash, after several forum chases, I found this problem:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php...70&postcount=2 : solution #2
I then noticed that I had both Gnash and Adobe Flash plugins installed.
Closed and restarted Firefox.
Now no more problem with gtk-gnash!

** Affects: gnash (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
