[Bug 360681] [NEW] after firefox upgrade flash does not work untill flashplugin-nonfree . [ubuntu 8.10] firefox flash hangs swfdec_video_decoder_errorv no suitable decoder for video codec 7

Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 8.10 32bit
After todays safe-upgrade my flash stoped working mostly - they freeze.

Work around:   aptitude reinstall  flashplugin-nonfree

Full fix: make upgrades of firefox trigger reinstallation of flash
plugin if it is present.


The problem is now debugged, but for information, this is the info:

- In youtube most videos (90%) always instantly freeze firefox (have to
be killed)

- in youtube after killing pulseaudio (and restaring firefox fully)  the
firefox is no longer freezing and the controlls seem to work (there is
buffered data, and the play/pause/seek buttons work), but NO video -
black rectangle - and no audio

- despite of killing or not killing pulseaudio, some other flash vidoes
(in example all in wrzuta.pl - like: ) play fine (video, audio).
