This bug has been fixed in later versions. I cant recvall if it was 0.8 or 0.9. You can find both in my PPA however they are not supported.
At this point in time it looks like we are losing sunbird as of 1.0b1 so it is unlikely that we will do much with it other than ask for testers for it. However lightning will still go on as of right this minute this can change at any time since ther eis noone upstream that can spend the time to do anything with sunbird but same devs on both project.

Other note please dont leave comments on closed bug reports as they are useless for the most part since there was a reason it was closed.
We have no intentions on backporting 0.8 or 0.9 into any release but the ones they are in at this time.but we will see what i think is best.
