I believe my problem was caused by Ubuntu not Firefox. I disabled the
Ubuntu Firefox Modifications addon and this seem to resolve the problem.

Status in “firefox-3.0” source package in Ubuntu: New

Bug description:
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

The page will load but the majority of the page content will not display and
'done' will populate at the bottom. At times, I can hit reload and the
content will populate, other times this will not work. It is not the website
because can access Firefox in Windows and Pandora and Gmail will work correctly.
Checked pop up blocker and it is turned off. Also shut down and restarted
Firefox and still did not resolve problem.
